An intuitive discovery, born in Corsica
In 1993, Frédéric Esnault visited the Restonica valley in Corsica.
It all starts with a simple, almost disturbing observation: water is not always neutral for the skin.
Scientific literature has shown that repeated exposure to conventional water can increase insensible water loss and temporarily alter the skin’s barrier function.
In the Restonica valley, an experiment puts this into perspective.
What if water could become a balancing factor rather than an unbalancing factor?
Hyperionization is the answer.
Without modifying its chemical composition, the process optimizes its physico-chemical organization.
The classic indicators remain unchanged.
Only the colloidal architecture changes, as shown by the significant decrease in zeta potential.
This reorganization gives hyperionized water distinctive functional characteristics, reflected, under controlled evaluation conditions, by :

A patented invention inspired by nature
Sublio transforms water… without altering it.
The process we have developed is based on a singular idea: water does not need to be enriched or reformulated to become a moisturizing active in its own right. It intrinsically possesses functional properties whose expression can be optimized.
Hyperionization, now patent-protected, takes place without any addition or alteration of material. The usual physico-chemical parameters (pH, conductivity, redox potential, TDS) remain virtually unchanged; only a significant decrease in zeta potential is observed, reflecting the emergence of fine colloidal organizations.
This specific organization gives hyperionized water distinctive functional characteristics, enabling it to interact with the skin’s physiological mechanisms.
Under strictly controlled evaluation conditions, repeated applications are associated with measurable optimization of hydration parameters and modulation of biological responses linked to the cutaneous barrier.
