Installation of two Sublio Ultra systems for Les Sablons 5* campsite

Context: a pioneering 5★ outdoor wellness and aquatic facility

Les Sablons 5★ is one of France’s most committed campsites in terms of well-being, sustainability and quality of customer experience.
For several years now, the site has been developing a unique vision around:

• A renowned balneotherapy area
• A spa and a complete wellness offer
• High standards in terms of the environment (permaculture, waste management, water saving)

For almost eight years, the Scientific Director of Sublio France has been a loyal customer. His understanding of the challenges and the unique philosophy of this exceptional place highlights an obvious affinity: Sublio is a natural fit with the spirit of Les Sablons.

Analysis of requirements: the search for a more engaging customer experience

In the summer of 2024, an initial meeting took place between the head of aquatic spaces and Sublio’s scientific director.
In twenty minutes, the Sublio hyperionisation concept was presented.

An understanding was reached immediately: the Sublio approach fits perfectly with:

• The pursuit of sensory comfort
• Making the most of water as an experience
• The site’s commitments to quality

A second meeting was arranged with Thierry Poirot, manager of Les Sablons, to confirm that the strategies aligned closely.
The decision: to install Sublio in areas where skin comfort, feeling and difference are essential.

Technical audit: choice of Sublio Ultra models

Frédéric Esnault, Sublio’s founder, visited the site to carry out a complete inventory:

• Analysis of volumes of water
• Type of use: individual, communal, sequential
• Technical limitations (flow rates, pressure, hydraulic compatibility)
• Analysis of existing installations (filters, networks, areas of use)

The choice led to two Sublio Ultra units, capable of individually treating the balneotherapy area and domestic cold water system.

The balneotherapy area

A large balneotherapy pool including:

• A jacuzzi
• A lazy river
• Several water jet zones
• Four bubbling spaces for small groups

A single volume of water, ideal for uniform hyperionisation.

Domestic cold water

For all campers.
This is a priority, as the quality of the shower experience is a significant factor in the high-end experience.

Preparatory work: optimising filtration

The diagnosis revealed an important point: the existing filtration system (silica) neutralised the effect of hyperionisation.

To guarantee Sublio performance, an upgrade was added:

• Replacement with micron filtration, compatible with hyperionisation
• Installation of a Pureflow system
• Creation of a dedicated line for Sublio looping without loss of efficiency
• Optimised flow rate to match Sublio Ultra’s maximum processing capacity

The aim: to obtain perfectly prepared water, so that hyperionisation can deliver its full sensory potential.

Sublio installation: carefully managed integration

Installation was planned to be completely invisible to customers:

• Work in the plant room, with no prolonged outage
• In-line integration into existing water circuits
• Pressure and temperature calibration
• Fine-tuning of high-frequency vibration by auto-calibration to optimise skin comfort
• Tests, measurements, joint validation with site teams

Commissioning was scheduled for April 2025, at the start of the season.

Results: an experience that changes the way we perceive water

After installation, internal feedback was immediate:

• Water that is clearly better for the skin
• A more enveloping sensation in the balneotherapy areas
• Clearly noticeable reduction in skin tightness after a shower
• Greater comfort, even with intensive communal use
• A new, unique sensory experience reflecting the site’s DNA

Such was its success that the campsite quickly decided to go one step further, acquiring a Sublio case dedicated to the spa, to integrate hyperionisation into their wellness treatment protocols.
